Target Audience For Newspaper
The target audience for our newspaper is mostly at the younger generation. This means female and male aged 20-30. We have chosen to aim it at this age group because we have decided that we would like to mainly write about celebrities and gossip. And we think that this would appeal the most to this age group.

Newspaper Discussion
In my group discussion we decided to make a tabloid. We decided to make this because we thought is was more advertisment and celebrity gossip, and thats what we would like to write about ,as we like the new celebrity gossips and the more modern things. I will be making the tv listings page with the upcoming weeks tv programmes. Becca will be making the front cover with the main story headline being something about 'New drug that helps you live longer'. Then inside Amy Kilby is going to do an article or an advert. Then i will be doing a tv listing showing you what will be on tele for the week.

Sunglasses Advert Evaluation.
My finished product is a bit different from my block design. The main difference is the picture, the picture on my block design is a full face view and my final advert is a face view but its a reflection from the mirror. The other difference is that my block design it only says my product name and the company name, where as on my final advert it has writing also around the picture with a logo and describing my product.
The technology in this case the apple mac software, photo shop and a camera helped me develop my product because they helped me put my product together. The main thing I used to make my idea of my product into a real advert was photoshop becasue I used this software to cut around my picture and put the plain coloured background with my picture. I also used it to put the pink colour across my whole advert.

I do feel that my product is suitable for my target audience because they still suit anyones taste and is still very appearling to young adults. I think that my product may look more aimed to girls but is still a multi sex product. I still think that my product will be very suitable for this target audience as this age group like to fit in with the new fashion trends and like to keep up with there celebrity idols looks.
One of the two things I have over come whilst trying to make my product was trying to cut out my picture for my advert. I had troble trying to cut around the photo as it was a werid shape but in the end after many trys I finally got my photo cut out and completed. Another thing that i had to over come was trying to get my text boxes into the right places. i had many problems with this but i finally got the text's where i wanted them.
From making my magazine advert I have learned how to cut around pictures on photoshop and I have also learnt how to drag images on to my background image to make the advert whole. Making the magazine has helped me using photoshop I now know what all the tools on photoshop mean and what you use them for.Using my own image helped me because using an image I wanted was much more easier than trying to find an image of the internet which would of wasted alot of time. From using my own image I found that it helped me with my magazine as I have now learnt how to cut around curvy shapes on photoshop.

My findings result:
From my questionnaires I have found out that most people except one person like my company name. The one person that didn’t like my company name said I should name it Robert Roach, which I will not name my company as most people said they liked my name.
The majority of the people said that my advertisement should be red, the second highest was pink. Some people said other and put the colours black and blue. People said that the colour for my name should be red or green. I do like these colours and may use them in the making of my product.
People liked the plain simple writing for my sunglasses or they liked the italic also simple writing. I will consider each different font for my product and will make my mind up in the process of making my sunglasses and will most probably use one of them for my sunglasses, if not one very similar.
From my findings I found out that most people do like my name reflection and also liked the name reconstruction which was my second favourite as you can reconstruct my sunglasses.

Possible fonts:
Reflection- I think this font is suitable because is my product because it looks fun and stylish and will add to the fun colours and weirdness of my product.
Reflection- I like this font because it’s a casual, simple font that people know and like. I think this font looks neatly effective because its more neat and professional italic.
Reflection- this font looks very plain and doesn’t really stand out but as it is so simple it’s affective and uniquely weird.
Reflection- this font is bold and italic because it stands out more this way and will catch the publics eye.
Reflection- this font id plain but is nice and effective because it’s bold and big and makes my product name stand out.
Possible names:
Reflection- I like this name the most because I think that most sunglasses names are to do with something that sunglasses represent, and reflection is what sunglasses do they reflect the sun.
Shine- this name is a good name but shine it what the sun does and sunglasses try to protect you from the sun so I don’t think it makes sense.
Reconstruction- I like this name because with my product you can buy different arms and accessories and reconstruct then yourself. But this name doesn’t really have much to do with the sun and what sunglasses are for.
Brighter- I like this name because I want my product to be bright and different but this name doesn’t represent why we use sunglasses.
Illuminate- I like this name because it illuminates the sun and make you illuminate and stand out from other people.

Target audience
My product sunglasses can be aimed at any age range but my sunglasses are mainly aimed at young adults around 14+. My target group is both sexes male and female because my product has a huge range to fit anyone’s likes and dislikes.
My target audience is mainly teenagers (14+) and older. I have chosen to pick this as my target group because I feel that most teenagers like to fit in with the fashion trends and like to wear the new favourite celebrity clothes. People wear sunglasses to add to their fashion statement and many adults 20+ like to keep their fashion to they’re taste but try to keep the designer trends and new looks to but sometimes don’t have the money to buy this high quality products.
My target audience tries to fit to everyone’s needs and styles and hope that there is a look from my sunglasses for everyone. As my sunglasses have accessories and different arms that you can add on or change yourself, to fit to your suitable look. People will have the range of colours and looks to suit them or if they want to copy their idols look but want to add something of their own in, they can with the range of unique and stylish patterns and accessories to form them to try and buy.

Advertising Standards Authority
The Advertising Standards Authority also know as ASA is the self-regulatory organisation (SRO) of the advertising industry in the United Kingdom. The ASA is a non-statutory organisation and so cannot interpret or enforce legislation. However, its code of advertising practice broadly reflects legislation in many instances. The ASA is not funded by the British Government, but by a levy on the advertising industry.
Its role is to regulate the content of advertisements, sales promotions and direct marketing in the UK by investigating complaints made about ads, sales promotions or direct marketing, and deciding whether such advertising complies with its advertising standards codes. These codes stipulate that "before distributing or submitting a marketing communication for publication, marketers must hold documentary evidence to prove all claims, whether direct or implied, that are capable of objective substantiation" and that "no marketing communication should mislead, or be likely to mislead, by inaccuracy, ambiguity, exaggeration, omission or otherwise.
Guy Parker has been Chief Executive of the ASA since June 2009. His salary for this role is £120,000.

What I found out from my spreadsheet:
In class we was asked to find out what people thought of our magazine front covers. I asked ten questions:
1.What type of magazine do you buy?
2.Do you like the name of my magazine?
3.What feature do you like about my magazine the most?
4.Do you like the font of the title?
5.Do you like Taylor Swift as the background?
6.If you could change the font of the title what font would you change it to?
7.Do you like the background colour?
8.Do you like the type of stories on the front cover of my magazine?
9.Do you think the price is to high to low or stay the same?
10.Do you like the general layout of my magazine?
Most people buy fashion magazine. Gossip/teen was also popular. I think this is because most people that were asked the questionnaire were mostly girls. Every one who got asked do you like the name of my magazine all said yes. People mostly liked the colours I used on my magazine. Everyone except two people liked the font I used for my title and for my stories and headlines. Five people didn’t like Taylor swift as the background but everyone else who got asked my questionnaire said yes. Most people said they would keep the font for my title the same. For the next two questions nearly everyone said yes, they mostly like the background the background colours I used. Nearly all of the people said the price should stay the same. And for question ten everyone said they like the general layout of my magazine.

magazine fonts
Arial- I like this font because it is plain and simple but looks good on a magazine. In bold the font also looks good because it stands out from everything else.
Big caslon- I like this font because it looks good and neat writing. This font looks good in bold and italic because it still looks nice and neat and different to most things you see on a magazine.
Brush script M7- I like this font cause it looks really neat and looks like hand written. This font looks the best in bold and italic.
Papyrus condensed- I like this font because its strange and looks really good and still looks neat. I like this font the best in bold and italic because in regular it could be hard to read as it’s so thin.
Santa Fe LET- I love this font because it is so different but could be hard to read, as the letters are so tight tighter. This font is quite small so if I used it I would make it bigger to stand out more.
All this fonts are very similar but still in some ways they all look a bit different. On my magazine I’m going to use Arial because I think it stands out the most and looks the best on a magazine.
magazine title ideas
Titles:
Floorless- I liked the name floorless because it was a unique name but I wanted to do a glamour magazine so I decided it was more like a fashion magazine name.
LOVE CLOTHES- I thought this was good name because I had never heard something like it before.
Fashion- was a good name but as I am aiming for a glamour magazine.
Pure beauty - I thought this was a good Idea because it was fresh and different.
LOVE GLAM- I thought this name was the best because I was to do with glamour and I was a unique different name and I never heard any thing like it before.

Tv listing magazine:
In class we was asked to look at three different magazines radio times, TV quick and TV choice. TV quick is a cheap pick up read then throw away magazine. TV choice is also a cheap pick up throw away magazine. Radio times is an high class simple, magazine with a good story inside.
Radio times is the high priced magazine out of all the three. Tv quick is a cheap magazine that some times comes free with a newspaper. Tv choice is also one of the cheapest magazine you can buy.
Radio times has shiny, thick paper with a simple, plain but looks the best front cover.
TV quick is cheap paper and bright colours with a front cover which is too crowded.
TV choice has also got cheap paper and has lots of bright colours and the front cover is also too crowded.

my magazine mood board explanation
Mood board:
For my mood board I have chosen to do a glamour, fashion magazine a ok, gossip magazine and a hair magazine.
I have chosen to do these magazines because I like the gossip magazines with celebrity news. I also like the photos and style of the hair magazines. On the glamour magazine I like the celebrity front cover but not for a gossip and what is happening in the celebrities life just for the glamour or fashion of the celebrity.
I have decided to do the glamour magazine because I like the photos and style of this magazine. On this magazine there is magazine there is different colours and the fashion stories and glamour about people or celebrities in the magazine.
For my magazine I will need to make the front cover colourful and with the title across the top. I will also need to have a celebrity on the front of my magazine with the minor headlines around the edge of my magazine.
